Working with EPA as a resident has allowed me to broaden my educational experiences by working in small town emergency departments in Iowa. Through these opportunities, I have gained a greater degree of confidence for disease recognition and treatment. These experiences and the skills gained will serve me well when I join a rural primary care clinic this summer.
